Just quoting stanzas from State and Revolution?

100,000s have died that would be alive today if a ceasefire was reached. The West is so russophobic that context will just make them dig their heels in deeper, you need to get them to accept that endlessly killing Ukranians isn't helping Ukraine first and foremost.

No, but I wish they would read more. It's pretty obvious only a few read theory and the rest barely read more than the headlines of articles.

Cus they're all liberals. Liberalism is the philosophy behind the economic mode that is capitalism. There are progressive, moderate, conservative liberals, just as there are progressive, moderate, conservative socialists. Fascism is also just more liberalism

Imo the conspiracy is the conspiracy, if that. America got caught with its pants down and Bush did 911, the planes were holograms, etc. is just there to detract/as cope from the fact that the US had spent the last decade doing nothing but masturbating over the corpse of the USSR.

The United States has NEVER needed a reason to invade another country, they've never met a false flag they didn't love

Here's two selected quotes from the article, although I can't find anything from his wiki or anywhere else other than Trump that says he was a marxist, in fact he seems to be far more neoliberal than anything else:

That predilection would shape his professional outlook as “a pro-business economist, focused on what entrepreneurs see and how they think,” said Keith Collister, a Jamaica-based business journalist and economist who has worked with Dr. Harris over the years.

“The national industrial policy was anathema to Marxists,” said P.J. Patterson, Jamaica’s prime minister at the time. “What Don was propounding was the notion of a market-based economy where the private sector, not the government, was the engine of growth. There was nothing in there about state control of industry.”

Most of media is liberal or downright fash, IE multiple literal races in fantasy, pacifism at all costs, individualism like superheroes, etc. There was a Kim Jong Un quote floating around about how all art should tie back to the revolution, which I agree with, even in a roundabout way, but almost all the media I've been bathed in has been reactionary af.

What are some pitfalls to avoid, so I don't accidentally draw what amounts to a swastika? Is there a 7 basic plots for commies? I've already read some anarchist and vaguely socialist fiction (have not found anything ML) but some recommendations would be nice as well.

Flip the argument. Extoll how socialism has near 100% employment and relatively no homelessness, even providing good jobs to the disabled. Wiki will fact check this as true, because it agrees, but says that's bad

Like I get how covid conscious and dating/meet-up sites are a bit of a contradiction, but my partner and I are both immunocompromised with asthma and have followed proper covid protocol since the beginning (masking, not really going out ever, because it could kill us easily, and even if it didn't, I don't want to harm others!). It's... difficult, though. We're very social, poly people that have been effectively stuck in the best prison with the best prison mate.

Like, other people like us have to exist right, even in this hyper-individualistic hellhole? I tried grindr and tindr but, well, people lie, and it's very literally life and death. I tried googling this and came up with basically nothing.

Yes? Life is joyous enough that even the most imperiled, enslaved people have found happiness and love in their fleeting moments of peace and freedom. I mean, have you seen a rainbow? Shit's pretty

[-] [email protected] 24 points 1 year ago

Nah. Who would fight it? Aging white Republicans vs. multiethnic pacifist zoomer and gen alpha Democrats? The Dems are more than happy to roll over for whatever the Republicans want and their base will only hold signs and engage in disorganized civil disobedience. I can see full-on transgender genocide, as our existence can be legislated away with relative ease, but Democrats won't care any more than they cared about the gay genocide in the 80s, and the incarceration of those that illegally seek meds will be bipartisan

I already know brainwashing is the CIA taking a scary sounding word that just means to think scientifically and making it a boogeyman (all the while the US Gov was imprisoning and dosing people with LSD for months on end to effectively brainwash them). I'm assuming what's true for the gulag system was true for the Laogai, but some sources would be nice.

Regardless it's funny. And it'll be great watching the dem meltdown when he serves exactly 0 days behind bars. They'll still proclaim it a symbolic victory ofc

Mmhmm mmhmm mmhmm ok

Next up: Time to call Putin’s bluff

Can't wait to die alongside everyone I've ever met loved hated in nuclear hellfire

Markets predate capitalism. Markets =/= capitalism. The chinese practice market socialism, and at this point, it should be clear the difference between reform and opening up and the travesty that is shock therapy that was done to the former USSR.

Went down to the US for the weekend to visit gamer friends. I'm driving in a school zone and slowed down as a result, there were y'know kids everywhere crossing the street. A USian then speeds behind me, barely avoids plowing into my back, then slows down to hang out of the car, yelling about how slowing down was bad for their dog. Then at the next few lights they tried to ram and brake check us, again hanging out of their car yelling slurs and murderous threats.

White americans are so fucking absurd, I grew up there and they will all kill if you even look at their ridiculously abused pets the wrong way. Like a friend was bit once and got pepper sprayed when she tried to stop the dog. Not saying Canadians are much better (in a lot of ways we're worse and more mask off with our racism), but USians are a special kind of unhinged. I constantly have to remind myself that just about every single white person in Canada or the US is descended from someone that killed to live there

If you're interested in learning I could give you some links/literature (have you ever read communist political theory?). What you've just said is basically an Eli5 for nazi children. Absolute dumbassery
