... until the 90s. Everything after that was chasing that 90s high of the fall of the Soviet Union and the feverish Silicon Valley speculative orgy that is still dragging on.

Cus they're all liberals. Liberalism is the philosophy behind the economic mode that is capitalism. There are progressive, moderate, conservative liberals, just as there are progressive, moderate, conservative socialists. Fascism is also just more liberalism
Because liberals are right-wing too.
Liberal goals align with those of fascists and fundamentally oppose those of socialists because both fascists and liberals share the goal of maintaining capitalism as the mode of production. With this necessarily comes support for the things that capitalism requires to function: exploitation, dispossession, imperialism, social murder, genocide, war, &c.
We need a strong Republican party to scare the center right into accepting a genocide.
I think something happened that could be described as grazing them. Maybe even lacerating.
