Mothman
Shows up, collapses a bridge, leaves
That's all of me in a nutshell right there
It also hung out near the old WWII bunkers near point pleasant. So maybe it's a tankie?
A tulpa created by perhaps?
I don't really know anything about the mothman tbh except I watched some movie with Richard Gere about it when I was a kid I think.
Looking into this.
The Mothman Prophecies was really more about the general state of weirdness around Point Pleasant around the collapse of the Silver bridge
There are a lot of stories about weird things going on, especially the stuff going on with Indrid Cold, but Mothman is straightforward
Big thing with wings, doesn't even look like a moth, flies around being ominous
It's perfect
Indrid Cold
Very creepy, his cameo in that movie although only being voice over a phone still does it.
Dracula
:dersh:
Bigfoot! Hence why I made the comm icon Bigtoe itself. Out of all the myths and legends out there I tend to think there might be some credibility when it comes to it. indigenous peoples have passed down wild man stories for centuries and there's been so many sightings, idk. Second favorite is the grey alien because it's so mysterious.
Tachibana Ichirou.
...What?
Moth man but it’s ghost boy’s hypothesis where the town was dosed with acid and it was a giant bat from the Philippines
I'm mothman-pilled these days, but back in the day I loved some of the nonsense shit from Pliny the Elder. My favorite creature was the Abarimon, a savage mountain man with backwards feet that runs at insane speeds.
I'm the backwards man, the backwards man, the backwards man, I can walk backwards as fast as you can
Coolest digimon
OGOPOGO!
PLESIOSAUR!
Kelowna-pilled
Deer Lady
It's generic but my answer's got to be werewolves
Respect. Werewolves and Vampires are the biggest for a reason. They're the best.
Vampires are cool but tbh I'd rather be able to eat garlic than have enteral life
What's the point in life if you can't have tasty food
Godzilla!
werewolves, close second is a toss up between minotaurs and dragons
hell ya minotaur is a good pick
I like Kappas. Read a lot of kwaidan and ghost stories as a kid like I was a prepper memorising rules for the monsterpocalypse or something and kappas always struck me as so goofy and cute, like they have this divit in their head that has water in it that gives them energy, but if you bow respectfully to them, they will reciprocate and spill the water from their heads and become lethargic. Also they apparently really like cucumbers (who doesn't) so people will toss them into waterways to placate them.
Neoliberals
Wait, favorite, fuck uhh
Dick Cheney
Banshee
Will'o'wisps
W*
spoiler
Wendigo, which I just learned is a taboo word.
An Indigenous user here commented that W*, second in your list is tabu and says it should be referred to as such. Interesting thread.
Didn't know it was a name of something that shouldn't be mentioned.
One of the reasons that I listed it is that over the years, different tribes (though I can't remember which tribes or clans within tribes) would have a slightly different mythologies behind them. Though this would be the first time I've heard about it being taboo to mention it. Thanks, (I hadn't followed that thread that far down ...)
