totalbisquit, though more out of respect than rewatching
Yogs cast.
Every Frame a Painting....... Come back to us
Apetor.
Oh man. I have to revisit his channel.
The Game Chasers. Main guy handling the channel, being part of the show and editing ended up passing away from Cancer recently.
Robert Murray-Smith, inventor, maker, gentleman, Englishman
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4AkVj-qnJxNtKuz3rkq16A
Found out he died, committed suicide. Sad.
Looking at his channel, he really has some high quality content. Its sad that it had to end in that way.
TotalBiscuit :(
Hopefully heaven has a fov slider...
Epic
RIP in peace.
Cullt Moo, which is a real shame. I would really like more diners of Destiny.
GTOger has been really quiet lately, probably since his company moved to a different place that isn't next to the lot patrolled by the tow trucks.
yovo68 (The 11 foot 8 bridge) has also reduced in uploads since they raised the bridge by 8 inches.
Bill Wurtz only uploads every once in a blue moon.
And I've only just noticed that Vi Hart deleted her channel. That's a kick in the whimsy, for sure.
Epic Rap Battles of History isn’t exactly dead but they don’t post content nearly as much has they used to. And there are some bona-fide classics on there worth watching again and again.
~~They started a career doing advertising work for niche businesses. The Chuck Testa ad was their doing.~~
I was mistaken
Wikipedia disagrees with you about chuck testa. That advertising was done by comedians Rhett & Link.
Wait you're RIGHT! Good fact check, I didn't realize Rett&Link was a different group. I said some straight up disinfo there
Eppppcrppbttttlsffffhstooooorrrry
Begin!
There's a new one coming this weekend!
PBS Idea Channel. Such a good channel.
I got to meet the host once. He was a really great guy in person.
Jenna Marbles, it's been like 6 years since she stopped. Her videos are lots of fun though.
Hell yeah!
Dani and probably more but having unneeded subscriptions doesn't bother me.
VinoFarm - It was a nice positive beekeeping channel
Far North Bushcraft And Survival - Watching the guy survive in absolutely freezing conditions.
Yeah this one made me sad
Daniel Naroditsky, he was able to explain chess in a way that was very easy to understand and made playing much less intimidating
Hello Internet
Technically a podcast, but I listened to the YouTube version for whatever reason and occasionally go back for my favorite episodes.
I saw this interesting postmortem analysing what happened to the podcast.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYRpJf1lor0
I listened to every episode from beginning to end in real time and I'm still really annoyed at grey for ending it that way. I've really soured to him a lot over the last few years, down from one of my favourite online creators for many years.
Technoblade never dies! Tom Scott came back, so I was right staying.
I miss old Rooster Teeth. I rarely go back to it, but I go on a little watch spree every few years.
I'd also include Masahiro Sakurai on Creating Games. Incredible channel that was run by the man himself. I've learned so much about the developer side of things from his channel. Sadly he ended it a few years ago because he felt like he was able to talk about pretty much everything he wanted to touch on. And he had to get working on Kirby Air Riders.
A couple other small ones would be:
Scykoh- Made a series called Glitchfest where he would break down and show off significant bugs/glitches in games. Similar to A+Start.
Jasper- A guy who broke down how Nintendo created certain elements of their games. Very informative as well, but he only made a handful of videos and then just randomly stopped a few years ago.
Sp0ntanius- Musician who made creatively edited Zelda music covers. He actually still uploads the occasional video. But he often doesn't upload for several years at a time.
Ya I archived the RoosterTeeth/AH stuff I loved, in case the company does some destructive restructuring now they've disbanded fully. Plus YouTube can't be trusted with anything now.
I still see Jack Patillo crop up on Twitch streams and podcasts and whatnot
PhotonicInduction
I aint ‘avin it.
I recently found out Katherineofsky has died but her factorio malls and videos influenced the community so much...
Oh no! I didn't know. I still call them undergroundies
I heard quill18 make some off the hand comment about her passing and she hasn't uploaded anything in months so I think it's true but can't find anything confirming it, checked her twitter(silent), her youtube(silent), her twitch(silent)... But no direct message about her passing
Munecat. Not sure if dead, but it's sure been long since she posted anything.
There are many channels I stay subscribed even if there is a gap in content from a month to years.
Looking at my PipePipe subs - Bob Music, Digital Engine, EugeneTeo, Fuzo Tech, Humble Road, Husk IRL, Laura Malvoyante, Ozzy Man Reviews, Potholer54, Side of Burritos, The Imaginary Axis, The Invisible Internet I2P, Veronica Explains are all low on new content.
Doesn't cost me anything to stay subbed.
