I don't really think it's pathetic, I think it can be used if someone has realized they had a reactionary take and have accepted criticism.
Granted, I don't know it most piefed users will be using it but I think it's a fine idea.
Before starting work on PieFed I spent years doing disinformation research and that list is the result. Prior to that I was working at the parliament of my country surrounded by the inner workings of politics. All that is to say: this is a high quality block list made by someone who deeply understands the subject matter.

Regarding that diagram, where do the anti-Castro Cubans, Sam Giancana, and E Howard Hunt fit in?
I love the idea of a de-escalation button. Does it work well in practice? I could see it being abused by people repeatedly posting offensive or provocative statements then retracting them to avoid criticism.
