Honestly even if Congress is swept by Democrats, I would be completely unsurprised if the controlled opposition faction of the DNC (read: the vast majority of them) does nothing at all due to how diViSiVE it would be. And even if they do, the Tribunal of Six will probably try to declare impeachment unconstitutional or something like that.
The leftist candidates that have been winning these various special elections by double-digit spreads over highly-favored right-wing candidates are not dems, they're progressives. Same label, very different flavor.

Couldn't agree more, The both sides of the same argument ignores the very real change that is happening in America and may not change the Democratic party overnight but the differences are real and they're starting to accumulate.
Now that's definitely not where we should stop but those people in the right positions can buy us the space to make real change via direct action, unions and community support networks.
