"Nothing on my end, thank you"
I exhaled through my nose.
Who needs VR headsets when you can just cover your whole body in screens?
This is my strategy. I have no less than five monitors going at once.
Most sane Eve Online player.
Ah, game on the bottom right screen I assume, the desto of the screens are excel tables?
That one on the bottom right aint a monitor! It's an impostor! Get 'em!
But really, this part seems least ergonomic, your hands will go numb from holding them up for prolonged periods. I'd prefer a small desk besides hips for mouse and just place keyboard on the crotch. Or another desk on the left for small split/gaming keeb.
Not a phone in sight, just living in the moment.
Isn't that one on a stand beside the middle-bottom monitor?

What i3 users think they look like.
All I see is blonde, brunette, redhead…
... do you think that's air you're breathing?
I know kung fu...
My favorite part of that scene is when he just style shifts into drunken boxing, hahah!
"You think that's beer you're drinking? ...Huh."
So, I've been crippled for a while, and have the poor mans version of this:
[] (==) ||
[] Wall
(==) Bed
|| Computer Desk
Got a bunch of surgery recovery pillows to prop me into an inclined position, Computer Desk just has a TV on it, got a wireless keyboard, wireless mouse, and i have a folded up sheet with an ergo mouse pad.
... most people can probably pull something like this off, with a $50 - $100 set of differently arangeable surgery pillows, and I guess a wireless (i suggest 2.4 ghz) mouse and keyboard.
Resolution on the TV ain't great, but I've only got a Steam Deck, so.... beyond 1920 x 1080 is generally a bad idea anyway.
Do you have one of those bedside hospital tables? They're super convenient.

I do not, but yeah, having something like that would probably be useful for a lot of people doing a set up something like this.
The room I am in is a bit too small to also fit something like that without it being more of a hassle than a help overall, and it would probably get hung up on the carpeting, and I'm basically at 10% strength capacity in one arm/wrist/hand, so... it would probably be painful and awkward to move around.
I just have a smaller nightstand table.
But, my bed is a queen, so, there's usually enough room to just have a kind of 'stuff i need to grab fairly frequently' zone, like a staging area.
I guess I'm rewatching Grandma's Boy again today.
Adios, turd nuggets!
News@11: a 32 year old man died today after rescuers where unable to free him from the collapse of his advanced home office monitor configuration. His last words were: delete my browser history, I can't reach my mouse...
Tch, didn't even have a deadman switch, amateur.
I wish my dentist's chair was like this
How tf do you get in and out of that contraption? Or maybe you just... Don't.
Ah yes, the goonopticon
Knowing how insanely heavy my 49" screen is, I'd not be able to lie down comfortably like that. They're screwed if that monitor arm decides enough is enough.

this is my preference thanks.
That's AI, isn't it?
I would assume so considering the guy only has one foot and the keyboard keys are just some vaguely square gibberish
there seem to be 2 feet, right next to each other.
the keys are weird, but it might just be compression artifacts: since I can't spot any other of the typical continuity errors...i think it's real?
the gray tech boxes have neat continuous lines, which ai usually fucks up, the carpet seems properly rectangular, the hair doesn't have that weird ai shine to it, the shoes have proper patterns, the hand seems mostly okay; might be a weird shadow, the mountains seem too good for ai, the curtains' folds seem too believable for ai (fabric usually has continuity errors, afaik), probably some other stuff...
i think the keyboard is really just compression artifacts, since the big tree on the right has similar artifacts. the cable holes also seem too orderly for ai, too neatly arranged.
might also be photoshop or some other cgi but i dunno... doesn't seem all that obviously ai to me...
...unless there's been some very major advancements i missed?
like i said: I'm not entirely sure either way...
eta: also the vase on the right has what seems like proper reflections
WANT!
Don't wait until the last second to get up to pee.
The only problem I see here is a severe lack of cable management. That shit is borderline offensive to me, lmao
New anxiety: monitor falls onto your face.
Say what you will but VR headsets have become much smaller since this photo was taken.
It's called Altwork
They want US$7,000 for a chair and some monitor support arms? I want to try one, but not that much.
hmmm
For things that are "hmmm".
Rule 1: All post titles except for meta posts should be just plain "hmmm" and nothing else, no emotes, no capitalisation, no extending it to "hmmmm" etc.
