New velociraptor just dropped!

[-] Hubi@feddit.org 48 points 3 months ago

There's a reason he has forward-facing eyes...

[-] tempest@lemmy.ca 10 points 3 months ago

How do you think he got so big?

[-] bear@lemmy.blahaj.zone 6 points 3 months ago

Rumor has it that he ate a full grown man, and that the human bones are still inside.

[-] aeronmelon@lemmy.world 22 points 3 months ago

Big Bird picking off residents of Sesame Street, one by one.

[-] Gullible@sh.itjust.works 10 points 3 months ago

Big bird’s mouth is one of like 3 hard surfaces on a muppet’s body. Everyone has the eyes, but big bird has a stiff, hunter’s peck. If I had more time, I’d write a snippet on it

[-] Lemmyoutofhere@lemmy.ca 10 points 3 months ago

That’s a T-Rex.

[-] agamemnonymous@sh.itjust.works 5 points 3 months ago

No way, velociraptor was way smaller, you're thinking of utahraptor

[-] ivanafterall@lemmy.world 3 points 3 months ago

Wouldn't it make more sense if he were a quetzalcoatlus?

[-] thatsTheCatch@lemmy.nz 75 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

Unfortunate that they used an AI image to represent it though. It's added another horn to the triceritops

[-] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.dbzer0.com 39 points 3 months ago

It's added another horn to the triceritops

Nah, the quadceratops was just the limited deluxe edition for the Kickstarter backers

[-] spankinspinach@sh.itjust.works 9 points 3 months ago

I hear they released a single "gold edition" T-Rex with adorable little dragon wings on its back. Fluffy, of course

Where do you think the tri comes from.

[-] HowdyLemmy@lemmy.zip 3 points 3 months ago

Na, he's pointing out the fourth horn.

I only see three. I assumed the mouth one is a beak. Was trying to make a joke btw.

[-] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 6 points 3 months ago

20 per cent more fluffy!

[-] WorldsDumbestMan@lemmy.today 3 points 3 months ago

When are we bringing back the Chocobo?

Cant wait for furry artists to draw fluffy dinosaurs.

[-] stiffyGlitch@lemmy.world 18 points 3 months ago

on it! 🫡

[-] olafurp@lemmy.world 13 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

It reminds me of this one. Sure you could make a case for selection based on breeding qualities but that's a huge investment for just looking good. I think this guys take is more plausible.

I mean, look at the super chonky neck bones.

[-] ChristerMLB@piefed.social 13 points 3 months ago

Pretty sure that's a fake picture actually

[-] Deceptichum@quokk.au 23 points 3 months ago

I’ve seen a real picture of dinosaurs and can confirm this is not real.

Nintendo's going to have to sue the entire field of paleontology now.

[-] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 11 points 3 months ago

Imagine a T.Rex but its a giant parrot with teeth instead.

[-] JakoJakoJako13@piefed.social 11 points 3 months ago

Oh I'm gonna use Emotional Support Fact from here on out.

Who is this Durham guy and why does it feel like 80% of tweets I see posted are his?

[-] PhoreTwunny@lemmy.world 1 points 3 months ago

Seriously, why is this guy posted so much? Most of his posts are more cringe than funny.

[-] WorldsDumbestMan@lemmy.today 4 points 3 months ago

I can't wait to watch jurassic quack.
