There's an app made by the devil (Elsevier) that keeps saying its autosaving, gives you a save button, and lets you make presets that you then save and it just doesn't
Like it lags because it is saving, you close, it hasn't saved. You set it all up, save, close it, it didn't save. You come back like two weeks later and it boots up the session five times previous.

Hah, this happens in Maya too. At some point some sort of on-save event was added that dirties the scene graph. There's a command that reports the number of unsaved changes and since like 2012 it's never returned zero.
