Listen, I'm not gonna buy a fascist flag just to wipe my ass with it.
Luckily, in the US people just give those away by leaving them outside their homes for some fucking reason
Except burning it is the correct way to dispose of it according to US Flag code.
The number of people that follow the flag code is basicslly just The Boy Scouts and the military. People let their flags touch the ground, get dirty, get torn and tattered, etc and still fly them. People wear the flag as clothing or other uses that the code says is disrespectful.
But it's just a set of guidelines and not actually law.
Ceremonial burning is the correct way to dispose of it, but all of these desecrations are protected by the first amendment. Although it seems like the first amendment won't be a thing for much longer.
Funny thing they call the proper way ceremonial.
From what I gather, burning it in protest is just as ceremonial - merely a different ceremony.
The first amendment may be all but dead
Your constitution and amendments have always been conditionals based on who is using those "freedoms".

While it’s super lame to recommend it, I think it’s genuinely good an everybody should read it and follow it. It’ll help you treat people better.
Right? It gets bad press as "the Charles Manson manual" but it's all real basic stuff that helps. I've heard some allegations against Carnegie, so maybe he should be cancelled idk (I don't know the claims or their veracity). but HTWFAIP is solid self help
Hearing every billionaire on earth recommend it makes me want to hate it.
Can't tell if it's half mast for Kirk or for Trump. But maybe that's part of the point.
