I live in TN ( for now ) and our Trump loving leadership is making a fine case for moving out of state.

Android 12 .. browser shortcut and every time I open I have to re-select all and log back in.

Ubuntu my dude. I started fiddling with it years ago and it's my go to when I need a good desktop / gaming system. Any distro is gonna be a steep learning curve and a great way to go about it is to get a crapola system and start banging Linux on it. You'll be frustrated and then search and find that there is a massive amount of community support for most distros. I use a Raspberry PI 4 running Ubuntu 64 for all my AV needs... Drives the projector and stereo and also serves as a retro gaming over the projector deal. We're all fed up with windows.

If it didn't need a sign it didn't need a light.. some things need an indicator. A . 5 inch square bit of e ink is way better because it casts no light. And if a manufacturer thinks you need a light ... Then you get a light ... Need it or not. So ..

Don't feel bad for us. I like my pants. Even on a blistering hot day at work they keep me safer from burns and cuts and when I'm out hiking in jeans I don't have tick problems

From an electronic tech perspective... I've been replacing the LEDs in anything that annoys me with a dull red and a resistor valued to keep it barely visible. It's a tad more eloquent than tape. Most things don't need a led at all. I'd love to see manufacturers switch to an e paper solution with a simple "on" or "off" displayed. And I hate standby led's.

In starting to, but it's more like the old days now where I'll go to my list of cool sites and only if all those run out and I'm bored enough to doomscroll will I visit the R.
