Bad is still better

Who’s gonna do it?

True, exit polling doesn’t really capture people who stayed at home. But if you look at the poll below, it looks like the people that stayed at home were a little more in favor of Trump anyway.

https://www.pewresearch.org/politics/2025/06/26/voter-turnout-2020-2024/

israel had a LOT to do with the left staying home, dude.

I’d love to hear if there’s any real numbers that support this, or if it just feels right to you. I think most people cared about Gaza, but not more than gas prices.

Also, keep in mind that I don’t feel this way, I’m just saying this is the reality of US politics.

In terms of winning and losing, yeah it’s nothing. And Israel/Gaza is a subset of foreign policy.

And if you look at the Israel/Gaza specific question, 60% of people responding think our support of Israel is either just right or not enough.

Ok. You got nothing. Later gater

Or maybe you just exist in a bubble and can’t see out of it.

Between the Dems and the republicans, the Dems would have handled Israel and Gaza better than the republicans would have.

Furthermore, look at the “Most important issue” from the exit polling below. Note that foreign policy was 4%. People weren’t voting for Israel and Gaza.

If your asking why they lost, I don’t think Israel or Gaza enters the picture.

Not boos? Oh

To win the Cuban American voters.

The same republicans saying it’s fine to deport all the illegal immigrants that are living respectable “American” lives because they “broke the law” by entering the country illegally…

Also think these companies that didn’t pay their taxes appropriately (most probably intentionally) should be getting let off the hook because it was “targeted”

There is a mental disconnect

If they openly talk about something they were told not to talk about, could that have any repercussions?

Just finished If I Had Legs I’d Kick You. I enjoyed it quite a bit, but didn’t get why Conan sucked so much. Especially in the end

Tap for spoilerWhen she is clearly in crisis and he says “I know what you’re doing” and completely abandons her.

Maybe this is obvious to most, but for the first 10 years living on my own I kept the tree in the original box. Once I discovered Christmas tree bags it was life changing.

"There Will Be Blood would stand a better chance to be in number 1 or number 2 if it didn't have a big giant flaw in it, and the flaw is Paul Dano," he said on the most recent episode of The Bret Easton Ellis Podcast, noting that he doesn't think the actor could keep up with Daniel Day-Lewis' Oscar-winning performance. "Obviously, it's supposed to be a two-hander, and it's also so drastically obvious that it's not a two-hander."

Tarantino continued to insult Dano's abilities. "He is weak sauce, man. He's a weak sister," he said.

"So you put him with the weakest male actor in SAG?" Tarantino responded. "The limpest dick in the world?"

The filmmaker later clarified, "I'm not saying he's giving a terrible performance. I'm saying he's giving a non-entity performance."

Ellis then asked if Tarantino had ever enjoyed Dano in any project. "I don't care for him," the filmmaker responded. "I don't care for him, I don't care for Owen Wilson, and I don't care for Matthew Lillard."

2 eggs, turkey, stuffing, hash brown casserole, dumplings and gravy. And all the cheese. Garnish with some cranberry sauce. Salt and pepper to taste.

Apologies for the lack of picture. I ate it already…

Edit: I made another one. Here’s pics before and after the extra cheese. Also, I added dumplings after.

If Abbott had stuck with the story that this was purely political gamesmanship, the court would likely have allowed the redraw to stand, based on Supreme Court precedent effectively sanctioning partisan gerrymanders. But by repeatedly tying the process to a court ruling that changed the racial makeup of who can bring legal challenges under the Voting Rights Act, Abbott “explicitly directed the Legislature to redistrict based on race,” Judge Jeffrey Brown wrote in the ruling that blocked Texas’ new map.
