i am extremely upset by this post. Not because it is fake news presented as fact requiring a click thru to see it is from the onion, —the very reason i block fakenews— but because of the meta crap going on within hexbear.
I'm not fully aware of the nitty and gritty but i sense that it is posted here and in that manner because of the recent fakenews hateposts, whatever mods are having a spat, n such n so on.
its a fucking embarrassing slip for a server that generally conducts itself with more aplomb.
and that's like... leaving aside the fact that that this fakenews is extremely adjacent to real news around the world about real government action attacking trangendered folk. and i don't want to hear your effin excuses, only the most tone-deaf libassed person world refuse to see this point.
whoever it happens to be that needs to hear this? Hear me. hear what I'm saying. see where i and we are coming from. and instead of getting defensive like I'm seeing here, maybe listen to the people who are upset and do some goddamned self crit omg.
