Can you show us on this doll where the EU touched you?

[-] [email protected] 14 points 3 months ago

Careful with that doll, don’t you know beautiful baby girls, 11y/o baby girls are only going to be able to have 1 or 2 instead of 30?!

[-] [email protected] 82 points 3 months ago

Coming from Trump, that's a compliment.

[-] [email protected] 68 points 3 months ago

Trump's comments mark a significant departure from his warm words about the European Commission's president last week, in which he praised Ursula von der Leyen as “fantastic,” adding he hoped that the two would meet soon.

This man is just a walking contradiction.

[-] [email protected] 47 points 3 months ago

Dude definitely has some type of Alzheimer's or Dementia going on. That's on top of how much of an idiot he already was and is.

So that tracks.

[-] [email protected] 9 points 3 months ago

He has too little mental capacity left, so he simply parrots whatever the last person he talked to said to him. He also has no opinions or stances of his own, so he's trivial to manipulate: just find the last person who talked to him while stroking his ego and you'll know whose words these are, because they are not Trump's...

[-] [email protected] 52 points 3 months ago

"American president starts talking nonsense again as world shrugs and moves on with actual political discussion"

[-] [email protected] 14 points 3 months ago

You don't understand the danger of this rhetoric

He is laying the foundation for conquest

And all of you are just sitting here so self-satisified in his idiocy, convinced this is all a silly show

You will soon learn what happens when fascists get control of the largest military in human existence

[-] [email protected] 10 points 3 months ago

Just because it's nonsense, that doesn't mean it can't be dangerous nonsense.

Eh, France has plenty of nuclear deterrence. The US wouldn’t dare.

[-] [email protected] 6 points 3 months ago

Famous last words

[-] [email protected] 8 points 3 months ago

Don't be silly. There are multiple nuclear powers in Europe.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago

And do you think that's going to be a deterrent to the pathological war hawks that drumpf puts into power?

All that guarantees is M.A.D.

[-] [email protected] 48 points 3 months ago

When the fuck did "nasty" become a political insult?

[-] [email protected] 36 points 3 months ago

Around the same time everyone started SLAM'ing one another

[-] [email protected] 3 points 3 months ago

Perks of a former wrestling commentator being a North American ruler.

[-] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

...and it's the EU with a steel chair!

[-] [email protected] 12 points 3 months ago

Seems like he is the only one who talks like this.

[-] [email protected] 7 points 3 months ago

When we let a wealthy manbaby who has never had a mole of discipline in his life into the highest office in the land.

[-] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

This implies discipline is a chemical of some sort..

Where can I buy it?

It's just his brain using words of what happens to him on a daily basis. We ALL KNOW he shits his pants daily, he probably hates it, because it gets really "nasty" down there. It's just him projecting, desperately trying to escape the shame.

[-] [email protected] 36 points 3 months ago
[-] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

Right ? It does feel like a compliment

[-] [email protected] 36 points 3 months ago

Oh, a compliment from Trump himself? I'll wipe my european ass with it.

[-] [email protected] 29 points 3 months ago

Well the Chinese have shown how it's done.
Don't back down, show power and reprocicate

[-] [email protected] 36 points 3 months ago

China has not shown it first.

Canada has done it several times already just with the current "administration"

[-] [email protected] 12 points 3 months ago

I think what China did well was to let him fucking stew it it. The rest of the world has been putting reciprocal teriffs, but being clear they're eager to begin negotiations.

China put up the reciprocal teriffs and just said "reach out when you're ready to be reasonable. Don't wait for a phone call from us because it isn't coming."

[-] [email protected] 9 points 3 months ago

Thats what Canada did too. Applied light counter tariffs, told the moron that he can call us. Trump almost completely folded and Canada hasn't lightened any of its tariffs outside of the electricity one.

Only difference is that Canada is still playing nice.

I mean, this is literally what China has been saying everyone should do. They even made a whole video about it.

https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/world/559472/china-sends-stern-video-message-to-trump-on-trade-war-we-won-t-kneel-down

I guess, more and more people are realizing that yeah, that's what everyone's going to have to do.

Trump has said so much shit, at this point why is it still relevant?

I’m bored of Trump said this, Trump said that knowing full-well he will say the opposite soon enough.

The man, himself, doesn’t care about he said. Why should the rest of the world do?

[-] [email protected] 19 points 3 months ago

This is just so he doesn't look extra bendy as he has folded like a cheap straw before China

[-] [email protected] 17 points 3 months ago

Awe, does Cheeto Benito want to test out Europe's trade bazooka next?

[-] [email protected] 7 points 3 months ago

I think it's funny because he shits his own pants on the regular. Who's the nasty one here, Orange?

[-] [email protected] 5 points 3 months ago
[-] [email protected] 5 points 3 months ago

Does that mean he will meet all their demands, and add additional burden to the US?

[-] [email protected] 5 points 3 months ago

Better nastier than China than stupid as bread.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago

at least bread has more culture than him

[-] [email protected] 4 points 3 months ago
[-] [email protected] 10 points 3 months ago

What did she have against the EU? :)

[-] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

nothing, sounds like doesnt imply the topic is the same.

it was more about the type of communication and value of that. basically toxicity

[-] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

"arakhis, you gotta flush. I don't wanna be greeted by a log every time I go to pee. It's nasty"

Smh sounds just like Trump.

  2. No links to misinformation or commercial advertising. When you post outdated/historic articles, add the year of publication to the post title. Infographics must include a source and a year of creation; if possible, also provide a link to the source.
  3. Be kind to each other, and argue in good faith. Don't post direct insults nor disrespectful and condescending comments. Don't troll nor incite hatred. Don't look for novel argumentation strategies at Wikipedia's List of fallacies.
  4. No bigotry, sexism, racism, antisemitism, islamophobia, dehumanization of minorities, or glorification of National Socialism. We follow German law; don't question the statehood of Israel.
  5. Be the signal, not the noise: Strive to post insightful comments. Add "/s" when you're being sarcastic (and don't use it to break rule no. 3).

  10. Always provide context with posts: Don't post uncontextualized images or videos, and don't start discussions without giving some context first.

(This list may get expanded as necessary.)

Posts that link to the following sources will be removed

Unless they're the only sources, please also avoid The Sun, Daily Mail, any "thinktank" type organization, and non-Lemmy social media. Don't link to Twitter directly, instead use xcancel.com. For Reddit, use old:reddit:com

Ban lengths, etc.

We will use some leeway to decide whether to remove a comment.

If need be, there are also bans: 3 days for lighter offenses, 7 or 14 days for bigger offenses, and permanent bans for people who don't show any willingness to participate productively. If we think the ban reason is obvious, we may not specifically write to you.
