Your paint water or gamisol or whatever should be soaked up into towels, then left to dry before putting into the trash.

This makes sure your sinks don't get clogged and it's better for the water system. The paint then goes someplace where other garbage is disposed of. Even better if your local management has special disposing services for this sort of thing.
