It's kinda messed up when you think about it that the current ruling party in Italy is more or less a direct successor to the fascist party, like right down to stealing the logo of the Italian social movement (A movement the current prime minister was part of, a movement which openly proclaimed its fascism), and yet they get to call themselves centre right etc, a designation that the press run with and respect. The term "far right" and to an extent even "right wing" exists solely as a designator for things not in power.

Jammed with work homie tonight. I gave him a guitar and I'd heard he was tsking lessons a couple years back. Homie didn't know how to do chords and just kinda noodled. Wasn't much to drum to and he wasn't following any beat I'd lay down. So I taught him how to play power chords, plugged my bass in and gave some guitar lessons instead.

I like to think of tankies as Anakin Skywalker in that scene on the Grass with Padme. Only 17 years late but just watched the dark knight for the very first time. Doubt the critics came out with the idea that Batman was the villain all along even though it’s kinda spelled out pretty blatantly. I guess it’s basically in the title too, “Dark Knight.” Still though, I can imagine the convos when this movie came out being extremely nauseating to someone with a left worldview (especially with the surveillance mechanism used in the end)
