This is NOT learning from your mistakes, Germany.

It's learning to to get away with doing it again: outsource it.

It was a difficult decision, but we simply asked ourselves, “What would Hitler do…?”

Imagine a human ouroboros of two people eating the other's shit, one called nazism, the other zionism

Surprisingly harsh statement coming from Germany, at the same time saying Netanyahu has a Nazi history and calling him "it".

Shit, give me a second, I think I misunderstood the headline.

Ahh right, now I get it. Germany, due to its Nazi history, doesn't think Netanyahu is doing anything that justifies arresting him. Well, that makes sense!

Alternative reply:

Whose Nazi history??

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 month ago

No, Who's on first.

[–] [email protected] 40 points 1 month ago

Surely the headline was meant to say 'Nazi tradition'

glasses-off Germany won't arrest Netanyahu because of it's nazi history

glasses-on Germany won't arrest Netanyahu because of it's nazi history

Afaik there has not been a definitive statement from anyone in government, but that Germany will “examine what [the arrest warrant] entails in terms of execution on the national level”. Barrbock made no reference how long this examination will take though and what might happen in the case of Netanyahu entering Germany during this examination.

Honestly one of these countries has the chance to do the best thing ever, by saying they won’t arrest him and then immediately doing it when he arrives

"As proud heirs of the third reich, we can't reasonably arrest the new Hitler"
