That's one lamf post I don't think reddit would upvote

Would the real life answer be accepted if it's funny? This actually happened after the 2000 stolen out in the open election. I believe it was immortalized in Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11. It's the same procedural vote that happened with Trump, but this time a large number of electors tried to make objections and give protest speeches. But that's not the funny part. The funny part is that since he was the vice president, Al Gore himself was the one banging the gavel and telling them to observe proper order.

Probably an overreaction by the cops, the ignorant pigs would assume the libs marching during brunch were attempting to somehow "overthrow" the new based goverment and go into full overdrive, unlike the real Jan 6th I assume the cops will start killing people immediately, probably by singling out POC members of the crowd

Lib Jan 6th could only materialize as a police riot, since libs don't have the steel to do anything else except present a target for trigger happy Trump-loving swine

Milling about in the Free Speech Zones and singing Kumbaya at the Capitol cops, who just tear gas them anyway

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 days ago

The tear gas was about to expire cop shrug-outta-hecks

A very sternly worded reddit post with thousands of upvotes and gold

They would be wearing BRAT green to work. The most dedicated of them would stand in the free speech zone far away from Congress, holding plaquards saying "Mr. Trump sir, do you have no shame?" as welll as plaquards pointing out how morally superior they are for recognising Trump as the legitimate president, despite disagreeing with him.

Given how they've been focusing their anger, they're likely storming Jill Stein's house.

An unfunny answer is some may actually carry out hatecrimes. doomer

It legitimately can’t happen because of the police funding they did for the capitol in response to the last one. I think protests in general on Jan 6th or Inauguration Day will be met with barricades long before they get near the events near capitol hill

“Occupying” a publicly-accessible area of the Capitol building for 6 hours.

10000x what libs imagine tiny man square looked like 5 minutes after the picture of the guy standing in front of the tanks was taken.

It will be fundamentally identical, but all the attendees will be wearing pink hats rather than red, and there will be a land acknowledgement before anything pops off.

I was around for the protests in Syracuse after the last time he won. Specifically it was a little while into his term when there were the big protests right before roe got overturned.

There were a few hundred people gathered outside the state office buildings, a few people gave speeches and there was lots of call and repsonse chants and drumming.

I waited around for a little bit after to see if anyone else would stick around. Every single person had left to go home without talking to anybody 10 minutes after the scheduled end of the protest.

There were probablly 10,000 selfies taken in that time.

the most important thing that allowed jan 6 to happen was qanon. it doesn't get talked about often enough. the whole thing was predicting "the storm", and that was supposed to be it. so many people were already invested in the idea, they believed they had tons of powerful institutions on their side, and that they were saving the world by fulfilling the prophecy. for it to happen again, you'd need another qanon.

Pussyhats, liberal redditor pith on shittily-constructed signs, and a protracted lack of violence because blueMAGA doesn't slide, they just complain and cudgel before the fact; then throw their hands up like "welp we've tried nothing and we're out of ideas".

Millions of people walking to their nearest police station/jail to be incarcerated for civil disobedience and jam up the works, but the police refuse to arrest them and they all just remain standing out in the cold.

After 5 hours they decide that instead of contracting pneumonia and overflowing the hospital, they will converge in the nearest Starbucks or Whole Foods, where the management is happy to accommodate a mock proceeding by bunch of sign-waving people while the libs are buying overpriced treats.
