it amuses me that there are still relatively wealthy people out there willing to effectively loan Trump money to help him out of a jam. it would be one thing if he were any other politician, who might be able to pay it back at some point or convert it into political capital. but Trump's whole deal is about fucking over every partner or associate, never paying people what he owes, and tying shit up in court until the other parties get frustrated and walk away. total Mr. Scorched Earth

certainly, it makes sense for rich people to cover for trump as a class, but that's different than being the guy who cuts the check.

When the CEO of Knight Specialty Insurance, Don Hankey, goes to Starbucks (or wherever) - he might overhear somebody coo "See that guy? He's a billionaire." Because Americans usually worship money and the people that have it - I think uber-rich people start to think of themselves as not only superior to the rabble but see themselves as mental giants too.

I assume the average billionaire thinks they are at least 1,000 times as smart as Joe Average so "Trump fucks over everybody" certainly couldn't include them. They are far too smart for that.

But imagine the payoff if he gets into office, which is what everyone helping him is betting on.

Crazy how they don't mention the subprime car loan fraudster that actually paid the bond...
