I searched for my topics of interest and hobbies but barely got any hit.

Oh yeah, it is worth noting that Nebula doesn't have as many options as in YouTube, I'm afraid. That is the limitation of platform. New content creators do come in to Nebula but not as often as it would be on YouTube.

Personally, I love nebula because it does have the topics I am interested in, which is mainly history, news, video games and politics. There are also long form video essays on variety of topics. I would say that Nebula is more like nerdy because of prevalence of those topics. I haven't come across Nebula videos that are more niche like, let's say, woodworking or metalworking etc. I do photography but I think there is only one Nebula content creator that does photography.

There were some stickers that appeared in public places in Romania saying "Russia is a friend". After this incursion, how exactly is Russia a friend? Although, I'm sure many Romanians are too distracted and hypnotised on Tiktok by pro-Russian politicians to see that Russia itself is destabilising the country. I'm not kidding, pro-Russian candidates were somehow propelled into being viable opponents in the last general election, despite previously being unknown in traditional media and never took part in any debates. Turns out these candidates were making waves and appearances in social media.

Iirc, I think the FBI themselves said that most of terrorism in US soil is from right wing extremists.

Why does it seem like tankies repeat talking points ad verbatim? If I have a penny every time I hear BBC for being biased and unreliable, I would have already retired. What do they think of RT or any Chinese media? I always say that these terminally online tankies are extremely sad people who are only larping as communists to feel a sense of belonging in a group. They're literally just a gang doing things just for the fun of it.

What about Nebula? It's paid subscription but you can pay for once off lifetime subscription for $300, and the content creators even encourage users to opt for the latter. Edit: wording

I often read "Europe needs the US military to defend itself" online, but is it actually true?

For now at least. Europe doesn't have the same size of military industrial complex that US has at the moment. Europe needs more time to gear up.

Europe is still too dependent on the US military to decouple and be more independent own, unfortunately. The EU agreed to a trade deal/not-trade deal (according Von der Leyen) with Trump in European investment in the US military. I know Europeans were angry at that, but in the near term the EU doesn't have the capability to arm itself sufficiently, while simultaneously arming Ukraine. IMO that deal was buying time for the EU to remilitarise independently (I'm not a fan of remilitarisation as a Euro but what can we do).

But seriously, why tho?

I have been thinking US probably requires a hard reset. But then I realised, this will only benefit Russia and China. Well, more for China. Russia's expensive war in Ukraine won't make the country last long in the future. No one worth their salt could replace Putin. If US breaks up or goes on civil war, China will be the ultimate winner.

Musk and Napoleon aren't nowhere near close enough for comparison. Napoleon had done more good.

How will countries address the declining population of Europe, and climate change which disproportionately affects much of the world's lower income population and drives migration because of decreased land productivity and economic activity?

I don't know about investors, but in the past it is not uncommon for researchers to have inherent biases. For example, scientific racism was definitely a thing.

I see this from handful of people who are either immigrants or part of traditionally marginalised backgrounds. It's stupid and pathetic, it reeks of desperation, and you are not going to be spared because bigots don't care.

Truly living up to their tankie label.

According to Bloomberg, names like Mark Zuckerberg, Safra Catz, and Jamie Dimon all dumped massive blocks of stock while prices were still high. By the time Trump rolled out new tariffs on April 2, tech stocks had already started bleeding. Every one of those early sellers dodged a bullet, and the timing is loud as hell.

Executives sold billions as Trump’s tariffs loomed

The first quarter wasn’t quiet. Trump’s team hinted at sweeping tariffs leading up to April 2, a day he branded as “Liberation Day.” That threat shook investors. By the time the announcement dropped, billions had already been erased from global markets. The tech world felt it the hardest. Elon Musk reportedly lost $129 billion this year as stocks tied to phones, chips, and software kept slipping. A few billionaires are already buying the dip, but plenty have already made their exit.

There is more to life you know? When will liberals learn.

Edit: I changed the title so that people will understand what I am getting at. It is important to realise that economic anxiety trumps other concerns, especially in the growing wealth inequality and the overt shows of oligarchic rule. As Franklin Roosevelt said: People who are hungry and out of a job are the stuff of which dictatorships are made.

As everyone knows, Reddit is cannibalising itself and the longer time goes on, the users will have deleted their accounts and/or migrated to somewhere else, or they will simply forget about their accounts and log-in details.

I wasn't fully convinced before that Putin has Trump in his pocket, but after that stunt, I am convinced that he is under Putin's thumb. Trump and co. could have had marching orders from Putin to do exactly that. Also, this is something that Putin have done and would do, publicly humiliating someone on live TV.
