I'd argue it's not about this place being designed for one specific type of post. The point is not every community should necessarily be filled with hecklers. This place is to heckle. Even if the stuff we're heckling could possibly also be posted somewhere else, it makes sense to have a sanctioned point and laugh zone so there's at least room for more serious discussion (y'know, in theory)
