Since my last post about https://piratefeeds.net/ I've added a lot of cool new feeds to the site. I've gotta hand it to reddit-logo, they really came through with the donations. We now have a bunch of high demand feeds: TrueAnon, Trashfuture, Trillbilly, and a dozen more!

We've had issues with Patreon blocking some of the feeds due to detected sharing, but I've since updated the system to hopefully prevent this from happening in the future. Currently, most of the feeds are up and running, some redirect to working feeds on https://jumble.top/, and some are still unavailable until I get a new link donated.

In particular, I'd be very grateful for donations of:

  • Your Kickstarter Sucks
  • Rev Left Radio
  • Bungacast
  • Glue Factory
  • The Worst Of All Possible Worlds
  • Bad Hasbara
  • Blank Check
  • Bad Faith
  • Ten Thousand Posts
  • The Antifada
  • Varn Vlog
  • This Is Revolution
  • Diet Soap
  • We're Not So Different
  • We Might Be Drunk
  • Upstream Podcast
  • Cosmonaut Magazine
  • If Books Could Kill
  • The Deprogram

Also, once again, duplicate feeds are still more than welcome as backups.

The people will be eternally grateful to donors for their service!

NOTE: some users apparently can't resolve the domain. Best guess is some ISPs/DNS servers are blocking the site as part of anti-piracy filters. If that's your case try setting your DNS server to a big one like Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 or Google's 8.8.8.8. Alternatively using a VPN seems to fix it.

Hi comrades, I just pushed a big update to https://jumble.top/ with lots of new content (and some removals).

The new feeds proxy anonymously to the source content and are no longer a mirror of podking's feeds, which have been unavailable for some time. The feed urls have changed but your existing subscriptions should be automatically redirected, unless the feed no longer exists.

Please send any feeds you may have to collectivize. o7

Smell that? Is that the stench of the algae bloom in Washington? Or maybe the odor of a big honkin’ AI bubble that is ready to burst? I’ll tell you what doesn’t stink: the huge sweep in Left Wing candidates in Mamdani’s New York. This week, Adam is joined by friends of the show Brennan Lee Mulligan (Dimension 20, Critical Role), and Ed Zitron (Where’s Your Ed At? https://www.wheresyoured.at/ ).

In this episode of the A is for Architecture Podcast, I spoke to architect and historian, Vanessa Grossman, Assistant Professor of Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania’s Weitzman School of Design, about her 2024 book, A Concrete Alliance: Communism and Modern Architecture in Postwar France, published by Yale University Press.

Sampling only the most tantalizing soupçon of the book’s ideas, Vanessa and I discuss the relationship between the French Communist Party and postwar modernist architects, and how for them concrete served not just as a symbol of avant-garde taste but also political commitment. Architects like Oscar Niemeyer, Renée Gailhoustet, Paul Chemetov and Patrick Bouchain, and the networks of actors and actants, programs and artefacts that were activated to deliver social housing and cultural and working spaces in communist municipalities across France, as a means of delivering, ultimately, a countersociety of architects that sought to put a new vision of modernism to work towards a better version France’s nascent Fifth Republic.

For decades, the United States and Israel have enjoyed a uniquely close relationship. But it has not always been easy. Blowback now presents our first-ever mini-series: No Daylight. Over three episodes spanning some fifty years, No Daylight describes the turbulent times in the U.S.-Israel partnership, focusing on the Truman, Eisenhower and Reagan administrations

DC3: The Terraforming (soundcloud.com)

We’re going in for a threepeat – it’s Data Centers 3, as we continue with our analysis of the data center industry, the opposition to these hyperscale projects, and the real impacts on social communities and natural ecosystems. We get into the industry playbook of using “counterinsurgency tactics” to undermine opposition to these data centers and the ideological playbook of effective altruists treating these projects like they are just 4X strategy games. Plus how Mr. Wonderful is terraforming Utah by building a massive natural gas power plant to fuel a hyperscale data center right on the shores of the Great Salt Lake.

In 2025, researchers at the University of California submitted an academic article related to a case study of what they called “New-onset AI-associated Psychosis”. The article breaks down the case of a 26 year old woman who was hospitalized after she began to believe her brother was speaking to her through ChatGPT. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident and in today’s episode Liv examines similar stories that have emerged in the wake of the AI chatbot surge. Along the way, she explores how the companies behind these chatbots plan to prevent situations like this from happening - or if they plan to at all - and even shows what happens when a user becomes overly reliant on their AI and begins to sound like one themselves. In Jake’s words: “They are not making anything that’s dope.”

Former character actor Peter Coyote joins Will to talk about his new book Smothered by Riches, a polemic on the collapse of the New Deal consensus and the legacy of the Powell memo. He and Will talk about the history of neoliberalism from the Chicago boys to Bill Clinton, Peter’s decades-long political life including time in an Anarchist theater troupe, and a bit of Zen Buddhism for good measure.

A really interesting interview with a 1960s student activist

The parent company of the satirical publication The Onion has a deal to take control of Infowars, the conspiracist media machine built by Alex Jones for the past 26 years. It is a proposed six-month licensing arrangement, pending approval from a Texas judge, with an option to renew. That is expected to be approved this Thursday, April 30th.

Travis and Jake speak to former NBC News reporter and The Onion CEO Ben Collins about the deal, the new creative vision for Infowars, what it means to Sandy Hook parents who were victimized by Jones, and comedian Tim Heidecker's role as creative director for the venture.

Before that, Julian joins us to unpack theories related to Cole Tomas Allen, the Torrance man who was charged with attempting to assassinate the president after attempting to storm the White House Correspondents' Association dinner.

Welcome to our debut show! This week, Adam talks with Reo Eveleth, journalist and podcaster, about who gets to imagine the future, the power that comes with that role, and why certain visions of the future have endured in American culture. They also discuss problematic faves, radical almanacs, a hundred years of horrifying manifestos, and the virtues of being cheesy.

About the show:

Dreaming Against the Machine is a podcast about envisioning a realistic and hopeful future. Each week, the show’s host, journalist and astrophysicist Dr. Adam Becker, will have an earnest (and entertaining!) conversation with a guest about possible futures, seen through the lenses of history, science, and culture. In a world where tech oligarchs and their power fantasies are driving visions of the future, Dreaming Against the Machine aims to take back the terms of the public conversation about what our world can and should be.
