Oh I know, I was doin' a bit, I like how "we're both girls" is an in-universe eyerolling joke, lolSame, usually anyone I wasn't sure I would just assume they're cis, but lol lmao not here and it's amazing ✨ my list has Karuniya, Elena, Gertrude and Adelheid. I guess vaginoplasty and such could exist in the Union, but I've just been assuming it doesn't? I guess if cybernetics, why not fresh new genitals... Still, that's... Four out of a like, 40-odd cast, cis are in the minority lmao. "Trans until proven cis" is a fucking awesome slogan!!!! One of the things I tend to assume is that, given the union is young, trans rights probably swept through a little later so the trans populance might tend to skew younger? Whereas anybody older than like 30 probably lived under Imperial rule at some point when things were nooot so good. So I tend to assume that an Ulyana or a Khajida would be cis, because Idk. My brain is not trained to look for "40something hot older trans lady" which is a sad state tbh, I'd be thrilled for Depths to prove me wrong here!! Pls!!!

norn might be considered intersex? it really depends on her own internal conception of herself and how she chooses to categorize herself but she's a fictional character. i'd go with intersex AND trans personally but it's hard to say

Yeah the more I think about it, the more the assumptions I make fall apart honestly. It's kinda rough that she has to be, cause it means that all of the bad shit in the Empire is filtered through her y'know?
