Nice, and it's not even explicitly called out in-universe, cause the Depths seem to have their own roster of medical conditions and neural divergences, but I can just tell and given everything else COOL going on, there is no fucking way the author isn't intending Zachikova or Shalikova to be ND :) my beloveds...
