do you think Dark Sun Gwyndolin, the last God-King of Anor Londo, effectively used girl power by consigning rubes to the flame as a means of prolonging her shadow regime and drawing out the suffering of the world under the dying age of fire? i love her to death but you know she's a metonym for collapsing empire

true, but i'm not actually mad about that. lorty they/themmed whiterose, who afaik (i haven't seen mr robot) is explicitly a trans woman

no, i wasn't clear which bit i was talking about and i totally see how you read it that way when i didn't actually discuss whiterose at all (since they were bringing her up to discuss the morality and i haven't seen the show)

Well, i could see people debating Whiterose's transness on the grounds that she presents masc in a lot of the scenes and is never explicitly referred to as trans, but when you take a closer look, in all the scenes that aren't flashbacks to her past, she girlmodes whenever she controls the situation and can get away with it and only boymodes in public appearances in the politics and business sphere where she isn't out, so i'm absolutely going with the closeted transfem explanation over anything else people could come up with to deny her transness.
