Coming from a family that consumes olive oil by the barrel per year, I'm genuinely mortified.

Well, I was diagnosed with prediabetes in my 30s and weighed about 75 lbs more than I do now, cutting out oils and eating whole foods helped me be a healthy and athletic 40 something so don't really gave a shit what anyone else thinks about olive oil

Like the less generous part of my brain wanted to ask you about your new YouTube channel or podcast where you cover fad diets to plug some sort of MLM scheme. Not even saying you're wrong but there was probably a better way to respond.

If you truly didn't give a shit then you could have just not responded. I am happy for you and your better health though, truly, just think about how this reads to anyone else is all.
