Saw someone suggest that we start using "assigned [gender] by the state" as an acronym, AMBTS and AFBTS, presumably to iterate on the thing where terfs conflate """"""biological"""""" and state-assigned gender markers, and I fuck with that honestly. Gonna start.

Idk my current brain is "'let people enjoy things' except it's about me thinking people should be able to play genders without it having social implications" so I feel pretty silly about it. But "AMBTS" and "AFBTS" I very much dig.

I'm indifferent but I think its just shifting the implication from when a gender was assigned to who assigned it. Unfortunately both will become useful as distinct terms cause im sure the state isnt too far from assigning genders to adults pretty soon.

The assignment of gender to a person is already a constant and multifaceted process happening to people of all ages. You have a marker on your birth certificate that extends to other forms of identification, don't you?
