Rules (2024-08-30)
- This is an English-language community. Comments should be in English. Posts can link to non-English news sources when providing a full-text translation in the post description. Automated translations are fine, as long as they don't overly distort the content.
- No links to misinformation or commercial advertising. When you post outdated/historic articles, add the year of publication to the post title. Infographics must include a source and a year of creation; if possible, also provide a link to the source.

We will use some leeway to decide whether to remove a comment.
If need be, there are also bans: 3 days for lighter offenses, 7 or 14 days for bigger offenses, and permanent bans for people who don't show any willingness to participate productively. If we think the ban reason is obvious, we may not specifically write to you.

Well, if you want to talk logically about it instead of morally, you'll not be surprised that Europe, facing the largest land war since WW2 at its doorstep, isn't very keen on losing the key provider of it's military deterrence. So, they are forced to keep Trump on board, even if they oppose his actions. Beggars can't be choosers.
Sure, that might inspire some to resort to 'gotchas!', but all that's showing is those people aren't interested in actually constructively discussing the problem or even find solutions. So what's it gonna be?
Btw: aljazeera is a no-no on Middle East topics here.
Ahh so y'all are a bunch of babies that can't handle reading media from a different biased lens than your biased lens?
Of course Aljazeera is biased but damn that is pathetic....
Show me an example of Aljazeera having heinously distorted coverage of geopolitics from the recent past, especially in the aftermath of launching the Iran War when extensive coverage from different perspectives in the Middle East is as existentially necessary as it has ever been for people to develop a meaningful picture of what is happening.... and until then don't tell me Aljazeera is a "no-no". Judge the article by its merits, not the url.
