I can't get over the fact it's the airforce like shouldn't it be something AIR related? Why a sword for the airforce? It's an extremely ground-based weapon.
Yeah, everyone knows pegasus knights use lances.
This is the ceremony to mark the class promotion, unlocking swords and staves.
Rods from god weeb edition
Back in Nineteen Dickety-Two, the US tried to assassinate the Kaiser by dropping a comically large sword on him from a biplane. It landed on a nearby civilian zeppelin factory a mere 200 kilometers away, and the sparks caused by the sword scraping against metal ignited the hydrogen in the factory and killed 300 people, including 40 school children visiting on a school trip and dozens of paramedics. This was considered a huge success and became the doctrine for the US Air Force for the next hundred years.
Airmen are Flying Knights?
Swords are elementally air in occult stuff, associated with breathing and thinking.
