Actually, now that I think about it, isn't that basically reframing from cognitive behavioral therapy? It's not denial, if you say he might be instead of he actually is. Of course it's unlike he's actually a good person, but the possibility is not zero and there's no reason to get worked up about it as long as you don't have to interact. Yeah, exactly. I was just in a very annoying situation with loud people in an overfull full train and thought of trying this. I think it might have helped more, had I been able to focus at all.
