If we're privatizing space exploration it means we shouldn't be exploring space. This is what Jurassic Park (moreso the book) is about. You put scientific development in the hands of capitalists and the only thing they'll study is what makes them money. Science should be done for its own sake and be powered by an engine of burning grant money.
