If the communists had the same scale of power the liberals possessed right at this exact moment, there wouldn't be a fascist problem in the first place.
The fascists are thriving because of the system of decaying liberal capitalism fundamentally considers fascism as a more profitable alternative to socialism and your adherence to the status quo fails to accomplish anything beyond being the pawl that halts all progress while the reactionaries slowly grind the ratchet wheel backwards every day.
