This is what my peers sound like. I'm only doing a CS degree because I want to stay an undergrad for a few more years and its my second degree.
Genuinely frustrating and these brainworms have infected Chinese high-tech industries as well. Like stfu China your AI hype train isnt going to fast track commuism (mostly shanghai/shenzhen brainworms)

Push all people who know what a compiler is into a locker
I would agree but this new generation of programmers arent even going to get that far.
