Never underestimate liberals' ability to throw an absolute fit when attacked from the left. They are desperate to think of themselves as, "as progressive as it gets" and will actively seek out any excuse, including making things up, for why the person telling them capitalism is bad is actually a very problematic individual/organization and are basically the same as Nazis if you really (don't) think about it.

Seen this play out so many times irl, lol. You can't do shit with liberals because once you oppose something they identify with (e.g. a war crimes supporting politician) they will take it very personally.
