ok but consider this: What if we convinced the actual inauguration crowd to play the star spangled banner on kazoo during the inauguration, and kept it going as a tradition. Every future president starting their term to an off tune buzzing that's meant to be patriotic.
That is no different from any "patriotic" tradition when looked from outside.
