He also has a ten year term. Exactly why is he being forced out? What wrong - precisely - has he done?

The nominee to succeed Wray - by any measure - is wholly unqualified to serve as Director

They're just getting practice reps in for the next 4 years of 'we couldn't do anything, Donald Trump is too powerful', before winning in 2028 (bold of me to assume, I know) and we get 4 years of 'President X couldn't do anything, they're not a king'
