Are they afraid of having any remaining liberal-leaning justices?
Trump is already likely to get two more justices. Thomas and Alito could (will?) retire. And if that happens - Trump could appoint people in their 30s. Why wouldn't he do that? I guess the dems want to work as hard as they can so the court is in firm GOP control for decades.
instead of 6-3 you can get 7-2
