What if you were at a vampire the masquerade LARP and were told it was a goth type scene and you went and everyone was standard issue goth and you were the only one in pastel goth
Does VTM have pastel goths? That would go hard.
Why not, you can pick a vampire as whatever you want if you don't have some blowhard storyteller and a boring table. One of the most fun characters I shared a table with was a soviet russian vampire turned in the 30s and lived through the 90s shock/collapse before coming to America (with looted wealth of course).
Boring Dave who works the as a night shift janitor could probably make it on his own as a Caitiff with no one ever figuring it out, even if that's a boring-ass life.
I played a Brujah attempted revolutionary once that I imagined working with Harvey Milk's campaign, the '68 DNC shenanigans, etc. Nosferatu easily lend to a 4chan /i/ type stuck in the sewers with a character arc of growing personally as kindred when she couldn't have done as a kine (I imagine tzimce aided transitioning probably helped lol)
Doesn't have to be a mid 19th century aristocrat filled with ennui from a century and a half of unlife. Or some industrial goth/punk raging against the machine and filled with guilt over feeding.
