re. my post about the crowds turning on the Straw Hats last time, now that it's obvious they didn't kill Iceberg, I am loving how the show is clearly showing the dialectical nature of the masses as they help the Straw Hats and are concerned for their well-being - whether right or wrong, the masses are a powerful force that needs to be taken seriously.Also Franky is still my absolute favourite character. God I empathized with his shock and anger so hard when he found out his weapon boats (which I don't seriously think he made to hurt anyone) were subverted to evil ends. He's such a trusting kid (I'm not sure if he's intentionally autism-coded, but I'm choosing to read him that way, and as if the boat building is a special interest for him), and that was used against him to hurt people that he cared about. I can 100% relate to that feeling of having the best of intentions and just not thinking whatsoever about how people could use that against me.
It's such a good story, I was so angry though after that episode.
