Got some books from my gf for a recent birthday. (Also a new dress from my sister and mom! And some white docs I gifted myself. Paid $40 at Ross!)
Anyway, books! The Origins of Totalitarianism, Bodies That Matter, and Nevada.
I'm devouring Nevada like I've been starved of good literature. Going to have to read it a second time so I can savor it more. So fucking good.
Edit: holy crap the dress has pockets!
$40 for some docs is a steal holy shit
I know right! They end up with a lot of large sizes too. At least the ones around here.
It took a few weeks of scoping it out, a lot of them actually were too big for me.
First pair of docs I have owned since I was a teenager, and that pair was gifted by my big brother.
Cool.
I'm skeptical about it and likely won't finish it tbh. But it was on my reading list over covid and saw it near Butler in the philosophy section.
I guess it was an impulse buy. Maybe I can take it back.
That makes sense. Itβs probably good to read skeptically and know your enemy tbf.
