These are my opinions and thoughts and analyses, and im not the smartest and should be taken with lots of salt:
I think this (the X marker change) is the liberalism talked about in the manifesto, focusing identity instead of the superstructure. Unless your society has three seperate accepted ways of relating to reproductive labor (not counting the delinquent class of queerness), then this gender marker change being available is not indicative of a three (four counting the delinquent class) class system. Where I am we have X markers, but our society is still upholding the patriarchal binary system.
Im still chewing on the accelerationist manifesto, so i could be way off base.
Edit: so, i think this can be is a sign of appeasement, but the appeasement is not complete. Like, we have the beginnings of it in assimimationist movements, but its not complete and it remains to be seen if that will be the direction things develop in.
ah yes, the phrase "delinquent class" makes a lot of sense to me to describe the situation, thanks!
Im glad it was a helpful analysis ^^
