yeah, if i were to set this kind of thing up i'd set up a global hotkey that i could press to start typing and hook the app which runs into the background into an obs source - that would cover live streaming etc.
you could probably also do a second computer setup if you didnt want to do global hotkey, then have a dedicated second keyboard and a mess of wires to transfer the audio
edit: found this https://github.com/mmpneo/curses deep in the comments on the video edit 2: someone at my workplace made a side project with a radio announcer for a kid thing, and apparently used eleven labs, says that it was the most lifelike (can confirm that the clip he showed me was pretty high quality), apparently you can free account as well
