TBH I find it a little hard to believe that Joe Biden saw two gay guys making out in public in Wilmington, Delaware in the 1950s and his dad was like "love is love, son."
He's been telling variations of this story since the 80s and back then it was that his dad wanted him to visit a gay couple during a campaign, not something that happened when he was a kid, and it's evolved into this. And he supported a wide range of homophobic policies in the 90s.
