Sincerely: stay that way. There are things I like and interesting stuff happening on tumblr, but aside from the site owner being intent on crushing the life out of it, tumblr is also one of the most socially vicious and bloodthirsty websites there is, even more than reddit. You can't even browse funny art without having to wade through whatever stupid fucking transmisogynistic witch hunt is on this week because some puppygirl didn't shower for a few days. It is a ridiculous webzone.
It also gave me a load of brainrot (positive connotation) regarding kink and whatever, which I do like the sex positive community on tumblr. But sheesh...
Oh yikes, I did not realize. I've just heard some women/teens talk about it and it seemed like an experience I did not have. Sounds like maybe not the internet safe haven I built it up to be.
Yea...... Again it had awesome stuff, I learned a lot on there. But also as someone who's autistic trying to navigate it is like tightrope walking over a shark tank. The original home of callouts and cancelling.
