::: spoiler nazi catgirl fake dating my stance is i enjoy seeing homa be put in situations. i really like this stuff, but it's entirely from the angle of "this sucks for homa, i really hope she finds a way out instead of getting sucked deeper into this mess." imo you've got the right read, homa would ABSOLUTELY NOT be doing any of this if she had a choice, so it's very good at establishing her as a sympathetic character

i think homa is looking to make the best of a bad situation, so she'll look at the pretty ladies who are doing this stuff to her and maybe be kind of into them, and she'll take the phone thing and use it for books, and try and have a nice time when being forced to go on a date. but that's not the same as really being happy to be there, you know?hehe
She is almost empowering herself in a really atypical way? This does represent a huge boost to her living conditions. I support her efforts, I really liked that her first thought about the phone was using it to read. She's gonna be such a good comrade I just fucking KNOW IT!!! I like this :)homa!

there's a bunch of good stuff with all this, 10 is one of my favorite sections of the story. tower 8 has some stuff going on!I spent today playing Tactics Ogre more but I'm really enjoying the webnovel again, honestly I'm astounded it managed to somehow get even better.
i hear basically nothing but good things about that game, i've been meaning to check it out. how are you liking it?
I fucking adore it, it's a bit obtuse and an asskicker, but it's an awesome tactics game with a bunch of deep mechanics to consider in every move, and I love that gritty low fantasy wartime tone. I'm playing the PS1 version and the script is still pretty good, it's also kinda based??? You get to fight racists and refuse to do a genocide???? I've only played a couple hours but yoooooooo!
