i just wanted to thank whoever approved my account. i was not expecting such a quick approval.

Created blueprints in satisfactory for a modular ore processing tower. The base is a wrapper around a miner, and the floors process 240 ore each. Scales up to 5 floors tall, allowing for 1200 ore/ingots from overclocked pure nodes.

In the basic setup, each floor connects to the base directly. With 1-3 floors, each floor is balanced input wise.

Each floor has 3 ore inputs, and 1 ore "forward" port. One of the problems with Yakes42's design is that it was before mk6 belts, and thus didn't need more than 3 floors. To support additional floors, I added an ore output to chain additional floors. The forward port ore is also split out before the machine groups lines are split, so half of the incoming ore is forwarded.

Each floor has 3 ingot outputs, and 1 ingot forwarding input. Again, to chain an additional floor.

There is a slight gap in the roof where i have the steel frame floor that allows you to check on the status of a machine if you really need to.

Internally, it's two machine groups of 4. Splitting is done on the logistics floor.

To support 1200 and 5 floors, you need to chain 2 floors off of other floors. The bottom floor needs to connect via the middle lift. Floor 2 needs to chain into floor 3, and floor 4 needs to chain into floor 5. Otherwise, you will exceed the lift height (without using other tricks)

It's using what I call "budget" 1:5 balancer that isn't actually that bad for balance. It's a spliter connect 1:3, and then two of the three legs get split 1:2 again. Once branch (the middle) gets 1/3th, and the other 4 get 1/6th of the resources. As soon as the "middle" leg backs up, it is balanced. I kind of hate the design of real 1:5 balancers, and would only use them if I really needed them for something critical. For smelters with 1200/min input, it really doesn't matter except on the initial fill time.

While I really like the look of radar tower on the top, the Lookout tower looks really out of place. I'll probably come up with a cosmetic design. I've been trying to brainstorm on something actually useful to put on top. The only thing I can think of is for a few to have hypertube cannons.

I like how far away I can see the full tower with a radar tower on top.

Next I plan to do floors with Forges. 4 per floors would let each floor handle 300 for iron alloy, and 400 for copper alloy.

i was invited to stay for as long as i needed. i told him i was an SA victim. 3 months later, all my food is here, my stuff, and he confesses he sexually assaulted someone. now, i have to leave, tell his trans partner who i bonded with of course, lose all my food, and like a million other details that i cant process rn because i just want to fuckin die. i dont know how without any money or prospects to get out of here. telling his gf is gonna blow up her life and mine too, as if it wasnt already exploded.

im likely to be shut out of the mutual-aid and direct action i was doing. this guy is well connected and im just an old homeless tranny hooker that is too ugly to get dates so i cant even do that. everyone feels so bad for me like that is my actual purpose on this earth to be that person that lets people feel relieved they arent me. old homeless trans are less than dog dirt on someones shoe. dont wash it off even. shoe must be destroyed.

ive told the people i know that care about me who he is and where im staying in case anything happens to me. i mean, dudes dont like losing social status and im now a known risk to him and his carefully constructed public persona. im not even a person in this. im an NPC in his facade of a life.

i dont even have enough stuff to block the door and im sleeping with my knife now. like surviving has any meaning now anyway. all i can think about is telling my friend, his partner. maybe when i do he will go postal and kill me since im too broke to buy blues to kms and i dont want to suffer when i die. like maybe i should lean into this. what else do i have to look forward to in the good ol USA?

Gov. Greg Abbott threatened to pull state funding after the City of San Marcos placed a resolution in support of a ceasefire in Gaza on its City Council agenda for Tuesday.

The resolution, proposed by council members Alyssa Garza and Amanda Rodriguez, calls for an “immediate, permanent and sustained ceasefire in occupied Palestine,” an “arms embargo on the state of Israel” and “recognition of Palestinian sovereignty and protection of constitutional rights.”

I'm working on integrating authentik into my homelab stack to enable SSO and improve my invite processes.

Is there a webhook based on someone accepting an invite? This would allow me to instantly connect their plex account to their account in authentik, which means I can offer them the ability to use plex to sign into my site and access all the services that I grant them access to. Otherwise I would have to poll my list of users every x minutes to sync users to authentik.

Have you ever asked yourself, “Why don’t any GenZ-ers come to these things?”

As a GenZer, I’ve noticed that many of my peers feel like these protests aren’t specific enough to accomplish anything. Our generation is tired of political statements that feel more performative than substantive.

This isn’t to disparage the incredible work we’ve been doing in 50501. You all rock, and I’m especially grateful to all the wonderful friends I’ve gotten to meet through this group.

But, we need to tweak our strategy to make our movement as effective as possible.

It’s common sense that making our demands more specific will lower the threshold for how many people a successful protest requires. “Impeaching Trump” might require 4% of the population, while “Stopping the SAVE act” might require 2%. What will keep this movement going is clear results and a clear direction. Victories in specific areas will inspire other specific, clearly defined victories. So, introducing a specific set of demands for our next protest only makes sense.

Admin might say: “But we don’t want to scare people off with unpopular issues.” We might be tempted to reply that it won’t matter how many people we have if we never define a goal clearly enough to reach it. And this is a valid objection. But a more constructive response might be: “then let’s find an issue everyone agrees on.”

I’ve linked a secure, anonymous poll where you can indicate the 1-3 issues you feel pose a greatest threat to our democracy. (I predict that almost everyone will choose the same one). This will give us the data we need to convince mods to tailor our next protest (and hopefully our future protests) to the same specific issue(s).

My personal take? We should be devoting all our marches to stopping Trump from deporting political dissidents to El Salvador.

It sets a terrifying precedent for violating democratic norms, since it’s in denial of a direct Supreme Court order and constitutional protections. If we don’t remind him IMMEDIATELY that he has to respect our rights, then he’ll trample over them for the next four years. It’s a salient issue that’s relatively easy for the Trump administration to back out of. So, he actually do it if we shut down society enough (as opposed to fixing trade alliances that he’s permanently severed). Especially considering that tensions with El Salvador are rising (due to ES wanting assurances that people are actually guilty), the time is ripe. There are particularly horrific details that we can’t just sit by and watch. Four year old kids with cancer are being deported. People with tattoos for autism awareness are getting carted off. People who aren’t on lists but HAPPEN TO NOT BE WHITE are getting thrown in ICE vans. There’s so little oversight in this that eight women got thrown in the plane to the El Salvadoran men’s prison and had to be shoved off last minute. Deporting undesirables to camps is the closest we’ve come (so far) to a full-on fascist regime, and we have to hold the line here. This issue unites many other concerns on our list. Targeting judges, overthrowing birthright citizenship, and violating court orders are all bound up in Trump’s campaign against immigrants, students, and political dissidents However, I want to read everyone else’s thoughts about the most important issues.

I believe in this community, and I’m confident that everybody wants the best for this movement and will work their ass off to make sure we succeed. Let’s keep up the great work as we approach the next march!!
