It could’ve been from Reddit thread on here. It could’ve been from the local records.

This is how you stay on top. I get that giving up is really (I mean really) easy but it’s not just one person. It’s all of us.

We did great here!

I just wanted to put it out here to give a boost. Remember to look at local protests as well. It’s the little ones that make the biggest difference

I think the next big one is June 14th! 47th presidents birthday so be ready!

They have successfully ground this movement to a halt. We need somewhere else to organize that doesn’t have that same threat of being taken over by $$$

Let us speak plainly.

It is time for Trump to go. Trump and his family and as much of the GOP as we can shed at the Federal Government and possibly also States level.

They are actively trying to hurt us. They are taking away things that are ours, things we have paid for with our taxes. Things that protect us and keep us safe and make our lives better. They are energetically attacking the most vulnerable members of our society and the most vulnerable people with our borders. They are literally stealing our tax dollars for themselves and for their friends. They are trying to hurt us and kill us. They are not in good faith. We cannot believe what they say. They cannot be trusted.

We cannot allow them to continue to make decisions that affect our lives.

We need to focus our protest. Trump has to go. As soon as possible. He cannot be reined in, he cannot be controlled. He has to go, and that is where we need to focus. This has to be our demand. This is not to in any way dilute the importance of the thousands of issues worth protesting over. But right it is it clear that this Administration is not going to go stop hurting us. All of us. They have to go.

Trump has to go.

"But that will just create other problems." Yes it will. There is no easy way out of this. But I am 100% certain that Trump is not part of the solution. Nor any member of his cabinet, nor any current senior GOP legislator. They all have to go. It will be messy and time-consuming. And we have to begin at the top. Trump has to go.

This should be hammered in everyday. We lost HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of jobs within his first 100 days.

And groceries and eggs are STILL not cheaper.

The push back from mods and Conservative Dems needs to stop. ✋ we need to fight for our country and communities or we won’t have a democratic Republic anymore! we need to get into the streets and mobilize. I’m ready to go fisticuffs over our rights being taken away. Are you ready?

I am international student. Not involved in any of the political things. I am flying to another state through O’Hare airport. I am just scared that I will get detained for no reason and that I have no power to do anything.

As a grass root organizer I have watched in dismay as Democratic™️ professionals show up at my grassroots protests to harvest emails that will inevitably be fed into the obnoxious big-D spam email/text fundraising machine.

It makes me as a local organizer trying to build a big tent lose face; it pisses off the people who come to actually do something about the system; and it has the unintended consequence of taking all the wind out of the sailes that we've been trying to build, which we desperately need.

Can we please allow a grassroots mobilization to happen without corporate big D's showing up and hijacking the damn thing?

Despite their name, they don't speak for the actual people very well!

The people want freedom, they want a little bit of anarchy, they want a little bit of populist chaos.

They don't wanna be captured and pigeon holed into a corporate operation.

This attached picture of what happens if I use the wrong keywords here is just a taste of the problem i'm talking about.

Government expert Don Moynihan expresses it well:

Take the time you would have spent complaining about politics online, and use it to write a comment opposing the proposed Office of Personnel Management rule to politicize public services. You can do it in 5 minutes. Deadline is May 23rd!

  • It’s easy: Enter a comment here. No log in. Just click on the “submit a public comment” button. You can enter text, or upload a document.
  • The volume of opposing comments matters, so writing something short and sweet is great. You don’t need to read the rule in depth or be an expert. The proposed rule is bad and protecting nonpartisan civil servants is good. See more details below or take a look at the comments people have already posted.

Background:

  • The proposed rule seeks to reinstate Schedule F, Trump’s never implemented plan to institutionalize political control and loyalty tests for the career bureaucracy by turning 50,000 or more career civil servants into political appointees.
  • Federal comments really do matter. By law, they must be read by the administration, and substantive comments require a response. Failure to do so can see the rule tossed out by courts.

Read more of Don's explanation about why this matters.

(Edited to put the more action items at the top.)

(ETA: the EO wouldn't make ALL civil servants "at-will" employees, but would expand the number by a proposed 50,000.)

(Another edit! Missing word.)

This is really frightening ...

Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” is Project 2025 in legislative form. Here’s how it quietly turns a far-right wishlist into federal law:

  • Sec. 10008 - Expands work requirements for SNAP

  • Project 2025: Pushes “moral reform” to make low-income people work more for food assistance.

  • Sec. 10011 - Repeals education & obesity prevention grants

  • Project 2025: Eliminates “social engineering” and funnels funding into “traditional values” education.

  • Sec. 10012 – Restricts immigrant access to SNAP

  • Project 2025: Blocks aid to undocumented and many legal immigrants.

  • Sec. 20001 – Military expansion for “quality of life” and Indo-Pacific readiness

  • Project 2025: Backs massive defense buildup, especially near China and the southern border.

Dozens of sections quietly restructure the federal government to match the far-right’s long-term goals:

  • Guts environmental protections

  • Sec. 42108: Repeals Clean Air Act provisions used to limit emissions.

  • Sec. 42117: Eliminates environmental and climate justice block grants.

  • Sec. 42301: Strips EPA authority to enforce vehicle emissions standards.

  • Project 2025: Calls for dismantling the EPA and climate regulation entirely.

  • Centralizes power in the executive

  • Sec. 30051: Blocks executive agencies (like Education) from issuing new rules without meeting strict cost-benefit thresholds.

  • Sec. 30061: Prohibits the Secretary of Education from proposing new regulations.

  • Project 2025: Places all federal agencies under direct presidential control.

  • Weakens federal worker protections

  • Sec. 90004: Allows new federal hires to be fired at will—reviving “Schedule F.”

  • Sec. 90005: Increases pension contributions for federal workers.

  • Sec. 90006: Eliminates early retirement supplements.

  • Project 2025: Aims to purge and replace career civil servants with political loyalists.

  • Limits state authority

  • Sec. 44001: Preempts state and local governments from regulating artificial intelligence for 10 years.

  • Project 2025: Seeks centralized control when state laws conflict with federal priorities.

  • Defunds watchdogs and public interest enforcement

  • Sec. 51001: Defunds the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).

  • Sec. 52001: Cuts regulatory enforcement resources from oversight bodies like the PCAOB.

  • Project 2025: Labels oversight and regulation as “deep state overreach.”

Note: We’ll have an entire post soon on Sec. 80121(h) – Judicial Preclusion, which strips courts of the power to review federal permits and approvals- effectively silencing judges on matters like drilling, leasing, and environmental enforcement.

This isn’t just another bill. It’s the Project 2025 playbook written into law. This bill abuses budget reconciliation rules to jam through non-budget items, like education authority rollbacks, environmental deregulation, and civil service purges. Read the fine print. Read the bill!

I’m Zeb. I’m 27. I’m an organizer. I’m done having our future decided by a bunch of people that may not even see the end of the Trump Administration.

It’s insane.

I know a lot of people are burnt out and fearful. There’s reason to be scared, not hopeless. We’ve seen our numbers. We have the power.

The current opposition (Democrats) won’t win this. The current infrastructure is being manned by a bunch of Obama staffers that think their ‘08 and ‘12 success was due to their organizing prowess. It wasn’t. It was all Obama. It’s why Democrats can’t seem to win since then.

If the last 4 months are any indication of what the opposition will look like, we need new blood. Pronto.

I want to speak with you about your concerns, field any questions you may have, offer some ideas, and otherwise have a productive and uplifting moment on this thread.

Our greatest gift is the aspiring authoritarians and reincarnated confederates are stupid. Let’s not waste that. Let our effort be our offering.

Collective liberation is near.

In his latest interview, the Russian militant praised Putin for 'liberating Kursk', and asked when 'the rest of Russian land' would be reclaimed. https://www.the-express.com/news/world-news/171026/vladimir-putin-russia-alaska-donald-trump

Little donny two dolls and his clown posse have deemed Russia as not a threat to the US. Almost labeling them as an alley. Knowing what Putin’s mission to reclaim all Russian Lands, this “administration” becomes more and more of a threat to the safety of the American people as a whole.

Now that our defense department has paused cyber operations against Russia (https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/gop-congressman-don-bacon-hegseth-ordered-pause-cyber-operations-against-russia/).

According to a whistleblower working at National Labor Relations Board; DOGE allowed Individuals with Russian IPs to connect using newly created username/password to Federal systems.

#My question is: If pressured, will little donny give Alaska back to Putin?

Can that be used in our protests or do you think that too complicated for the audience we are trying to reach?

I understand that when it comes to Trump, we all make statements, some more crude than others. I am asking that we make a stronger statement, one that affirms who we are and what we don't want. If you all agree, next to any other message you would like to share, that you also have the following words.

"I am an American. I believe in the Constitution. I believe the American government belongs to the People. Trump and his government do not represent me or my values."

Please spread the message! Hope to see you all out there!
