Republicans in congress are beginning to call out Trump (mostly the far-right sadly) BUT even Trump supporters are beginning to leave the GOP. This could be a great opportunity to shift them to the left (and have them leave their bigotry ofc).

We need to be on top of this. Like the Republicans with Hunters laptop, we need to call the fuck out of Trump.

Seven House Republicans (listed below) voted against a motion on Monday that would have allowed a congressional vote regarding the release of files in Jeffrey Epstein's case.

Representative Ro Khanna, the Democrat from California, tabled an amendement for a House vote requiring Attorney General Pam Bondi to "preserve and release any records related to Jeffrey"

Despite calls for the alleged list and more information on Epstein coming from MAGA voters, seven of the Republican majority on the House Rules Committee voted against placing Congressional pressure on the DOJ to release records on Epstein. They were:

In NYC, there is a very real discussion about the future of our "two" parties. The media likes to paint Cuomo as a centrist, when he's really a conservative. He's about the conservation of existing, and broken institutions. Meanwhile, Zohran is painted as an extremist. I personally view his ideas as pretty moderate and reasonable. Only in a distorted media landscape do you get people calling livable wages, and fresh ideas about how to keep grocery prices lower as "far-left."

I'm tired. I'm so tired of the present state of politics, and I'm ready for the future.

We're waiting for this crop of old politicians to retire so we can let new ideas into the space. The establishment democrats are holding back much, much needed change. They do absolutely nothing to protect democracy or human rights. They talk a big game, and fail to deliver. When the GOP is in power, they destroy human rights and defy the constitution and the will of the people. It's a forever ratchet right.

Trump is completely and utterly incapable of admitting and accepting when he loses, its compulsion and an illness. We all know that. Part of the reason he didn’t attend Biden’s swearing in was so he could keep telling his base that he won, so they would take that anger to ballot box.

If anyone else, in the future is going to try to do this same thing. We need to nip it in the butt, right then and there.

You lose the election, you concede. You refuse to show up, you’ll never be president again. Period.

A lot of people are salivating at MAGA apparently finally turning on Trump over the Epstein files, and I'll admit, it's pretty satisfying to watch. But it's important to remember that, like external inflammation resulting from a deeper infection, Trump is just the most obvious manifestation of a deeper problem. There are some powerful and malign interests who used Trump and his populism as a Trojan horse. We can't put it past them to discard him when they believe he's served his purpose or if they think throwing him under the bus would be in their best interests.

Yes, J.D. Vance lacks Trump's unique appeal and has pretty much zero charisma (it's no mean feat to make Ted Cruz look like a model of charm and likeability in comparison), but he's also an unprincipled shitweasel who now has a potential opportunity to claim the Presidency for himself. After all, he had no known involvement with Epstein, so taking Trump down over his Epstein connections wouldn't mean falling on his own sword. He is, however, deeply connected with the hard-right think tanks and wannabe technofeudalists who want to dismantle our democracy. Trump wanted a second term out of narcissism and a desire to avoid legal consequences. Vance is less self-interested... and that might actually make him an even greater threat.

There's a reason I've been consistently saying this entire administration needs to go. It's not just the head of the fish that's rotten. Should they get rid of Trump, treat it as blood in the water, not a sign to let up.
