If only some people realized taking away one group’s rights will lead to theirs being taken away as well one day.

The terf women really played themselves here.

That jury has completely lost it. Expecting small people to pay 660m to a big corporation that’s destroying our climate.

"A cap of $10 was chosen to balance the need to protect consumers from high fees with the need to maintain the integrity of the payments system by incentivizing consumers to honour their payments," the department wrote.

Nonsense, just cancel the transaction then.

Two years ago, Apple effectively censored a core iPhone communication feature. The change was reportedly initially made at the request of the Chinese government. However, Apple quickly implemented the change to all iPhones globally a few months later.

Apple essentially endorsed China’s censorship demands by voluntarily enforcing the limit on all iPhone users, including the United States and every other democratic nation. Despite being controversial at the time, Apple’s decision has not faceted sustained public scrutiny. Instead, user control and a decentralized communication method were lost under the guise of safety

AirDrop was widely reported to be a useful tool for distributing information among protesters who pushed back against the authoritarian regime. A single iPhone could prompt a file share to dozens of nearby iPhones with AirDrop receiving from anyone enabled — something internet censorship couldn’t stop.

It would build the case to boycott China.

The failure to speak out about Tibet comes as the situation continues to worsen. At least one million Tibetan children have been separated from their families and placed in state-run boarding schoolswhere they are made to speak and study in Chinese and subjected to intense political indoctrination. Numerous incidents of abuse, neglect, and even death at these institutions have come to light. Children as young as four are losing their ability to speak Tibetan and communicate with their parents and grandparents.

China must be pressured to drop the death penalty.

This is ironically written by an American newspaper.
