Voters in Gainesville and High Springs, Florida, a rural area north of the city, held empty chair town halls this past week after Cammack declined to hold a town hall after numerous requests.

At a 25 April empty chair town hall in Gainesville, Florida, several constituents, which included retired federal workers and teachers, expressed frustration with a lack of response from Cammack’s office and several cited promises from her office that a town hall would be scheduled in April 2025.

“People are afraid. They’re celebrating when their social security check shows up because they’re afraid it might not,” said Jenn Powell, co-chair of the Alachua County Labor Coalition, and one of the organizers of the town hall. “So while Kat Cammack is not listening to her constituents, we decided to have a town hall without her, and will deliver the forms of questions and video to her office.”

While many bats in the genus Pteropus are social, living in large groups that can include thousands of bats, the Little Golden-Mantled Flying Fox is quite a solitary species of bat.

As a whole, their species is seen socializing less than other bat species of the same genus, and tend to spend a lot of time hanging solo, like Sunshine here.

Despite their small size, they are incredibly important seed dispersers in the wild!

World leaders have congratulated Mark Carney on leading the Liberals to victory on Monday with some signaling that it marks the start of a stronger relationship with Canada in the face of growing unease with U.S. President Donald Trump.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said “the bond between Europe and Canada is strong — and growing stronger.”

• The episode title refers to the hip hop group, A Tribe Called Quest, which Data mentioned as being his favourite recording artists in the TNG episode, “Family”.

    • Tribbles first appeared in “The Trouble with Tribbles”.

• Rok-Tahk refers to the tribble by it’s scientific name, tribleustus ventricosus, which was first mentioned in the short, “The Trouble with Edward”.

    • Keiko O’Brien’s classroom in DS9 had a diagram of tribble labeled polygeminus grex, which was taken from the “Star Fleet Medical Reference Manual”, published in 1977.

”A tribble outbreak once brought the Klingon Empire to its knees.” Worf mentioned in “Trials and Tribble-ations” that tribbles were once considered mortal enemies of the Empire.

”But tribbles don’t have teeth.” We saw a tribble with teeth in the PIC episode, “The Bounty”, but that was genetically modified.

• Giant tribbles approaches the Protogies and Chakotay. In the TAS episode, “More Tribbles, More Troubles”, genetically modified tribbles were able to combine together in one large colony creature.

• Doctor K'ruvang is on the planet researching a way for the Klingon Empire to defeat the tribbles. In "More Tribbles, More Troubles" the Klingons had genetically engineered a creature called a glommer to eat tribbles.

    • K’ruvang was sent to this planet by Martok, whom we last saw in either “What You Leave Behind”, or “The Least Dangerous Game”, depending on if you count an unlicensed Ferengi boardgame using his likeness.

• Chakotay askes how smart Rok-Tahk actually is, and Dal claims she fixed a core breach in 10 minutes, though he neglected to add that from Rok’s perspective in “Amok Time”, she had significantly more time, perhaps even years.

• Rok accidentally combining her DNA with that of a tribble resulted in a monstrosity. Edward Larkin also combined mixed his DNA into the tribbles in “The Trouble with Edward”.

• Dal mentions that like Rok-Tahk’s abomination, he too is a hybrid being created through combining the DNA of multiple species, as we learned in “Masquerade”.

• Quadrotriticale grain was introduced in “The Trouble With Tribbles”. Though in “More Tribbles, More Troubles”, Starfleet had developed quintotriticale grain.

  • In December, an investigation by Tom's Hardware found that Recall frequently captured sensitive information in its screenshots, including credit card numbers and Social Security numbers — even though its "filter sensitive information" setting was supposed to prevent that from happening.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons players can celebrate May Day from April 29 until May 7 in 2025.

To participate, head over to Resident Services and talk to Tom Nook. He’ll give you a May Day Ticket to go out on a limited-time May Day Island Tour. Take the ticket to the airport and you’ll fly to an island with a hedge maze.

How does the May Day maze tour work?

There will be tools, crafting material, and fruit hidden around the maze. To get through the maze, you’ll have to craft more tools and eat the fruit at the right times to get rid of obstacles like rocks and trees. To make the challenge a little trickier, you can’t bring anything with you. You can only use the stuff you find in the maze to complete it.

The maze is pretty straightforward if you’re careful, but still possible to mess up, so it’s worth keeping these important tips in mind:

You can break rocks and lift trees with your shovel once you’ve eaten a piece of fruit. There’s a crafting station mid-way through the maze. You’ll need enough materials to make tools like Ladders (which you can find in the maze). The small pits only allow you to jump directly across them, but there’s always a way to get to the other side of them.If you mess up or get stuck, use your NookPhone and use the Rescue Service app to get escorted back to the beginning and reset the island. (If you leave the island, you will not be able to come back!)

With some persistence, you should be able to make it through in just a few minutes. If you want to earn some extra money, make sure you grab the Bell Vouchers scattered around the maze. They’re worth 3,000 Bells each. (But if 3,000 Bells isn’t that appealing to you, feel free to skip them and head straight for the end.)

ACNH May Day maze solution

There are two possible mazes you can get and they swap out depending on the year. Once maze appears when the year is an even number, and one appears when the year is an odd number.

This is the 2025, 2027, 2029, and so forth maze solution, since this maze will show up during odd-numbered years.

ACNH May Day 2025 maze walkthrough

The maze walkthrough for 2025 is as follows, including how to find all bell vouchers:

Pick up the shovel in front of you. Use it to dig out the bush on the right and grab the fruit.Eat the fruit and use your new fruit power to help you dig out the tree that blocks the straight path.Pick up the two pieces of wood in front of you and you’ll be at a fork in the road.Backtrack to the fork in the road and head right. Jump over the hole and pick up the two fruit. Now head back to the fork and go left, digging up the bush in front of you, and picking up a piece of softwood and a ladder recipe.Break the rock above using a fruit-powered strike.Follow the path and head right to pick up two pieces of softwood.Use the last of your fruit to dig up the tree to the left of where the wood was.Head south first to pick up two more pieces of fruit. You’ll need more wood before you can make the ladder, so backtrack back to the fork in the road and head back right where you found the first two pieces of fruit.Use fruit power to break the rock.Pick up the fruit beyond the rock and eat it.Dig up the tree that blocks your path and pick up the two pieces of hardwood.Head north now, jumping up the hole, and dig up the tree.Grab the two pieces of wood (one in each row) and the fruit. From the bottom-most row, head left over the hole to grab the softwood. Backtrack back to the crafting table on the left side of the maze.Use fruit power to break the rock above the crafting table, grabbing the two pieces of hardwood, but don’t bother doing anything with these two trees. (You’ll come back for them later.)Craft the ladder at the crafting table.Head south from the crafting table and use the ladder to pick up the axe on top of the cliff.Backtrack back to the right side (again) where there’s the three horizontal rows. Go through the middle row and use the axe to cut down the tree and dig up the stump. Your axe will break, but don’t worry.Use the ladder to grab the two fruit up on the cliff.Head all the way back to the left side of the maze and go north to the two trees you ignored before. Use the fruit power to dig up these two trees.Use your ladder to climb up the nearby cliff to grab the three fruit. Climb down the cliff on the right side and dig up the bush.Run through the bottom-most row so you can loop around the hedge and head north. Dig up the last remaining tree with fruit power.Use the ladder to chat with Rover, completing the maze — but wait, there’s more.Descend the cliff with your ladder on the left side to grab four Bell Vouchers.Keep heading left along the edge of the island to see a rock with two fruit behind it. Use a fruit to break the rock and claim the fruit.Walk along the beach heading south, wrapping around to near the start of the maze. Use your last three fruit to break these three rocks and grab five more Bell Vouchers.Dig up the bushes on the right and talk to Wilbur to head home once you’re done.

What rewards do I get for finishing the May Day maze?

At the very end of the maze, Rover — a cat character who has made appearances in previous Animal Crossing games — will be waiting for you. He’ll give you Rover’s Briefcase, a furnishing item covered in travel stickers. If you’ve completed the event in previous years, you’ll get Rover’s Photo instead. The reward gets mailed to you once you head back to your island.

Rover’s Briefcase sits on a path in front of a house

The ticket and tour is only redeemable once your get your loot, and that’s all there is to do. Even if there’s only one thing to do for this event, it’s nice to see a familiar face. We don’t know what this means for Rover, or if he’ll return in a future event.

AI Summary:
Denmark's King Frederik X has arrived in Greenland for a visit intended to show solidarity with the semi-autonomous Danish territory. The visit follows a recent visit by Greenlander's new Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen to Copenhagen earlier this week. Denmark's king is set to meet with the new Greenlandic government this week. Bad weather forced him to cancel a planned trip to Station Nord. Frederik visited Greenland last July, months after he took the Danish throne. The clip angered many Sunni Muslims and led to the fighting in the predominantly Druze Jaramana. The Interior Ministry says it is investigating the audio clip. Most of the other Druze live in Lebanon and Israel, including in the Golan Heights. The worst internal clashes in Syria since al-Assad's fall occurred last month. Sectarian tension in Syria remains prevalent.
