Add some LEDs and feel like you’re playing Tron instead of killing people.

This seems like an extension of social media and the internet. Weird people who talked at the bar or in the street corner were not taken seriously and didn’t get followers and lots of people who agree with them. They were isolated in their thoughts. Then social media made that possible with little work. These people were a group and could reinforce their beliefs. Now these chatbots and stuff let them liv in a fantasy world.

Only had one day at the Grand Canyon so I was by the congested main tourist area. Looking over the canyon, I turn around and there is a picnic table and nothing but McDonald’s trash left there. I don’t even know where the closest McDonald’s is, but they got it, drove in with it, carried it to a stone table overlooking the canyon, then just left the trash and walked away. WTF.

How old are you, or were you? Not saying there are no younger people who pack on weight, I’ve just found it’s harder to stay in shape as I get older. And if you’re not trying at all, this can happen to anyone. Course you his guy may have always been like that.

He wasn’t convicted and the whose system was used to cover for the cop. It took two years to just see the actual event. They investigated themselves. The use of the grand jury is almost always a farce. The death penalty is no deterrent for those given Free rein to kill as they see fit with no consequences.

And even if by some miracle those with the power to prosecute do so, they still have to find a jury to actually convict a cop. In many places, that is not happening. The guy in Florida who got some popcorn thrown at him murdered a man and was let go by a jury. And I’ve seen many people argue he was in the right.

It is not just a problem with a corrupt system. It is a corruption of a large segment of society. Too many people are ok with this happening. The US especially is on a course to destruct. I don’t think there is anything that can stop it. It has been happening for a while, and seems to be speeding up. But most don’t see it. Those in the future will be better able to pinpoint when the tipping point came. I think we are already past it. Oh well.

He built a wall and Mexico paid for it. They remember that clearly, so what he says 10 years later must be true. Anyone surprised maga people believing this is surprising. lol.

That’s if you take anything g this asshat says as truth. But he doesn’t tell the truth. He’s not going to leave on his own. He is just whining.

It baffles you that somebody might want to sit on the couch and charge their phone or pad or laptop?

Furniture can cover outlets making them less accessible. You then don’t need a 10’ cord to reach an outlet if it’s built in. It’s also in the same spot and easy to find the cord and port.

My headboard was cheap and came with an usb. It plugs into the outlet hidden by the bed. I now have a charging cord where I need it. Some of it is useful, some not so much.

It won’t always be done if people don’t want it. In the 80’s everything came with a clock. The old joke about the vcr flashing 12:00 is pretty accurate. Now many things don’t come with clocks in them. Heck last time I bought a Blu-ray player a decade or so ago, there was zero lights on it. Couldn’t tell if it was on or not. I hadn’t used it in months and switched over to that port on the tv and the movie start screen had been running the whole time. lol.

Just move huh? Just change the government? Simple. I’m sure no state will defy the constitution regarding education. And all states will care about all students and listen to local school boards. Local boards are even smaller and not need the state then. It’s great that it’s all about making things better for all and being more efficient. Sure, that’s the only reason for this. Maybe states should just become their own country, or change the federal government if they don’t like it instead of eliminating it.

I bet you believe abortion is about “states rights” too. I’m sure it’s all decided now and no need to push for a federal ban. Nobody is pushing for that I’m sure. lol. Do you believe that abortion is only about abortion even?

It’s not even worth typing out all the ways your whole statement Is silly. Anyone with even a partial brain can see what the end goals have always been. And when given a chance, what they have and will do with the power. And yet people like you just push the absolute dumbest narrative you can and somehow believe it.

[-] [email protected] 4 points 3 months ago

Maybe not yet. But that is the ultimate goal. That’s not even a slippery slope fallacy. Poor people don’t need an education, let them start working when old enough for school. These are goals they are working towards little by little. If you don’t know that you are not paying attention. You are just hearing what is said by known liars and believing it for every little step until the goal is met.

Trump just needs an executive order saying stock prices can’t go down. Problem solved. But since the rich get richer in downturns, I’m sure he will be told not to.
